| Facilities At Monash University we are located in the New Horizons Research Centre. Opened in 2013, this state of the art multidisciplinary research building houses groups from various engineering departments, including Materials, Chemical and Mechanical, as well as researchers from CSIRO. New Horizons contains laboratories for chemical synthesis, materials preparation and characterisation as well as a PC2 laboratory for biomaterials evaluation. Our laboratory at the University of Warwick is in the School of Engineering and has facilities for materials preparation. Characterisation facilities, including electron microscopy, are available on site. We also have access to chemical synthesis and characterisation facilities in the Department of Chemistry.
