Biostatistical Design and Analysis Using R: a practical guide

Downloadable Resources

As an alternative to the individual downloads listed below, the entire collection can be downloaded from this link.
NOTE: some of the code snippets may rely on other packages (particularly the car package), and in some instances, I have forgotten to include them - sorry! I am trying to get around to them all and make them all self-contained - but time is my enemy.

Data sets

The following tree contains links to each of the data sets used in the book and the data sets therein are sequentially organized within chapters. Data sets are presented in comma delimited text files. Many browsers display the contents of text files directly rather than provide an option for downloading. Once a text file is displayed in the browser, it can be downloaded by navigating to the File menu, selecting the Save As option, and nominating a path for the file.

R code snippets

The following tree contains links to sets of R code scripts mirroring those used throughout the book. R code snippets are sequentially organized within chapters and are presented in simple text files. Many browsers display the contents of text files directly rather than provide an option for downloading. Once a text file is displayed in the browser, it can be downloaded by navigating to the File menu, selecting the Save As option, and nominating a path for the file.

Special packages (biology)

To facilitate many of the peripheral biostatistical procedures in R, I have compiled an R package (biology). As yet, this package is not available on the CRAN.
