I have been active in a wide range of fields in pulp and paper research.  The major part of my work has been in the measurement of fibre and properties and relating the properties of the fibres and the structure of the network to the paper properties. 

• Low-consistency Refining.  
• Paper Structure and Mechanical Properties
• Zero-span strength
• Fibril Angle measurement techniques
• Linting in the offset printing of newsprint.
