Paper sizing and superhydrophobic paper

This research group focuses on cellulose surface chemistry and paper sizing and have published more than 20 journal articles, conference publications and book chapters on paper sizing. In the past ten years the group has been been invited to present papers in International conferences on paper surface modification. Through our research we identified five possible spreading mechanisms in the initial stage of sizing. The research group has a current research project on superhydrophobic paper.
