Undergraduate and honours research projects

If you are interested in an MTH3000 or EAE3000 Research Project, a maths or EAE honours project or a final year project in engineering, please email me at anja dot slim at monash dot edu with a copy of your transcript and a brief description of your research interests. I will be happy to discuss my currently active projects with you.

Undergraduate summer projects

I am not offering any projects for summer 2016/17 but will offer projects for 2017/18. Please check back in July 2017 for details. Previous projects:
  • How did zebra rocks get their stripes?
  • Flotation of dense droplets by bubbles
  • Floating and sinking of heavy droplets
  • Formation of ore deposits and the cosedimentation of droplets and crystals
  • Stability of startup Couette flow
  • Wave particle duality of multiple bouncing fluid droplets
