Baijingou Ophiolite in North Tien Shan: sheared and faulted ultramafic body. Outcrop on road G217 Du Kou Hwy. 84 47 33 and 44 04 53.

a) Faulted contact between the light grey ultramafic rock above and turbidites below. The turbidite loses coherence and is a faulted finely comminuted breccia for over 2m at the contact. b) Lateral contact with the brecciated and comminuted grey ultramafic rock (serpentinite).
