I was born on December 8, 1949 in South Australia.
I played senior football in the SANFL with Woodville and represented =
SA five times at State level, before joining Richmond in 1971.
I was a ruckman renowned for my big leap and ability to punch the =
ball long distances at centre bounces and around-the-ground stoppages.
I was the VFL's top knock ruckman in 1972 and finished third in =
Richmond's Best and Fairest the same year.
I played in the losing Richmond Grand Final side of 1972 and was a =
member of the Tigers' 1973 premiership team.
I played 96 games with Richmond from 1971-75, before crossing to =
Melbourne in 1976, where I played for three seasons.=20
After retiring from league football, I worked in the hotel industry =
and ran a pub in Richmond.
