Special Interest Group on Cryptographic Primitives for Blockchain

This is a working group under the IEEE TEMS Technical Committee (TC) on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies focusing on cryptographic primitives for Blockchain. Cryptography is the basic foundation for blockchain systems. There are lots of cryptographic primitives deployed in blockchain, such as hash functions, normal signatures, multi-signatures, ring signatures, zero-knowledge proof, verifiable random functions, verifiable delay functions etc. The key focus of this group will be on:

>    discuss the recent research or development from the research community regarding the crypto part of blockchain

>    the transition from pre-quantum to post-quantum era for blockchain systems, by migration of using post-quantum cryptographic primitives in blockchain

>    promote regular seminars or webinars organised among our group, which are welcome and open to the public for participation
