Notes: Attested in cpd. -raman=ngala- to have raman (painted emu down and feathers) on one>s body. 39.1.2. Phonologically, the root could be taken as =ngala- or as =ala- with ng added by phonological rule; in the latter case a formal identification with -mun=gala- (see =w1ala-) is conceivable (though still problematic).
