Welcome to Simon Campbell's web pages.
I am currently a Senior Research Fellow and Lecturer in the Astrophysics group in the School of Physics and Astronomy (SPA) at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Until 2022 I was an ARC Future Fellow at Monash. Before this I was at the Max-Planck-Institut für Astrophysik (MPA) in Garching (Munich), Germany.
I study stars with a similar mass to the Sun, using 1D models, 3D models, and observations. Here's a picture of the Sun taken by the SOHO space telescope, a picture of me, and a picture of one of my 3D simulations:
