2007 World Superbikes @ Phillip Island

Setting up camp on Thursday 1st March. Sit back and relax.

Our view of the racetrack, looking over the replica Go-Kart track. We even had access to the pits. Walked along looking at all the bikes.

Media taking photos of bikes, with Bass Strait in the background. The escape road at turn 4 (Honda corner). The busiest corner all weekend with all the riders testing their braking limits.

Our Track Marshall training session. Just pick up the bike and push it out of the way. And don't touch the riders, leave that to the medical team. All paying attention to what's being said.

Saturday Morning briefing, pick up lunch. The view I had from turn 6, Siberia. My sector marshall with his head set on.

The only bike I had to rescue all weekend. Lots of sweeping the track between sessions. We got it off in 38 seconds, which they we impressed with. Then after the session the recovery bike picked it up.

We got to see Max Biaggi behind the pits. http://www.max-biaggi.com Steve, Max and Myles.

Me, Max and Myles. Too tired to bother getting his autograph, as there were a dozen other marshalls waiting. All the spectators bikes parked behind our corner.

All the spectators.
