Venue

The workshop will be held in Theatre E7, Building 72, Monash University's main campus in Clayton, in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Travel

Public transport from Melbourne CBD to Monash University

Catch a train towards Cranbourne or Pakenham, and get off at Huntingdale station, which should take around half an hour. Then transfer to either the 601, 630 or 900 bus, which run to the Monash University Busloop. Visitors should buy a myki Visitor Pack.

Driving to Monash University

From the CBD, take the M1 and exit at Blackburn Rd. Follow Blackburn Rd to Wellington Rd, and Monash University will be on your right. Please note that the M1 is tolled; details for paying the fare can be found at CityLink. If travelling from the Airport, travel down the Tullamarine Freeway and continue onto CityLink, merging onto the M1 towards City/S.E. Suburbs.

Parking at Monash University

During the conference week, parking is free in the BLUE permit zones in:

  • the N1 multi-level carpark (map reference B2 in the campus map linked above); and
  • the SE4 multi-level carpark (map reference E4 in the campus map linked above).

The N1 car park is closer is to the venue of the workshop.

!! Parking in any other area (including uncovered blue sections) without a ticket or permit may result in a fine.

From Melbourne Airport to Melbourne CBD

If you arrive at Melbourne's main airport (Tullamarine), you can take SkyBus to Southern Cross Station.

Taxis are located outside Airport Terminals 1 and 3. It approximately costs $100 to travel from Melbourne Airport to Monash University.
