Mahendra is a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance, Monash University Berwick Campus. He is also the CPA Australia's Campus Liaison Officer at Berwick campus. Mahendra is also AF Department's representative of B.Bus.Com. Coordinator and B.Bus.Com. Course Advisory Group member in 2010. Mahendra has also been worked as a Deputy Course Director of Bachelor of Business and Commerce, Faculty of Business and Economics - Berwick during 2000-2005. Mahendra's teaching area covers Financial Accounting Issues and Accounting Theory. His research interests are in the field of financial reporting issues. Mahendra is a member of several national and international academic and professional accounting bodies. He has been a Treasurer of International Accounting Group of Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ) since 1992. Mahendra has held academic positions at the Southern Cross University; University of New England; Graduate School of Management and Public Policy - University of Sydney; University of Otago - New Zealand; and University of Rajasthan - India. Mahendra's personal interests are in the Yoga, Meditation, Volleyball, Cricket, Tennis and Morning Walks. He is in search for true knowledge by reading "Ramayan, Gita, Bhagavatams", etc and by visiting Temples (SV, HK) and listen discourses. He is married to Sunita and has two dedicated sons: Dr Chatar Sal Goyal (married with Vandana Goyal and has a daughter Radhika) working as a Orthopedic surgeon at the Eastern Health Medical hospital Melbourne and Mahi Pal Goyal (married with Ruchi Goyal) has its own practices as an Optometrist at Pakenham and Berwick. |
