Special Session on Dielectrophoresis

As dielectrophoresis (DEP) is arguably one of the fundamental pillars of microfluidic manipulation and given the continued advances in this mature field, we will be organising a special session on dielectrophoresis with the aim of promoting interaction between researchers that work on fundamentals and applications of DEP across different communities and disciplines. The intent is that this session, organized by Professor Ronald Pethig (University of Edinburgh), will be a showcase of the latest and most novel advances in the field. Contributions for both oral as well as poster presentations are therefore being solicited for this session. To submit an abstract, please submit an abstract using the template provided on the abstract submission page before the deadline, indicating 'Special DEP Session'.

Special Memorial Symposium Session on Electrowetting in Honor of Professor Kwan Hyoung Kang (1968-2012)

A special symposium on Innovative Concepts for Electrowetting and Electro-Microfluidics will be held in honor of the late Professor Kwan Hyoung Kang’s important contributions to the fundamental understanding of electrowetting. Organized by Professor Frieder Mugele (University of Twente), the symposium will comprise an invited lecture by one of Professor Kang’s closest collaborators Professor Sung Jae Kim (Seoul National University) together with both oral and poster contributions. To submit an abstract, please submit an abstract using the template provided on the abstract submission page before the deadline, indicating 'Honorary symposium Prof. Kang'.
