Background

I have completed a Master of Psychology (Educational & Developmental) and am a registered Psychologist in Victoria. Whilst being involved in the FIT-Choice project, I am also working as a Sessional Tutor and Lecturer with third year education students. The topics I teach are educational psychology issues that are highly relevant to teacher education such as special learning needs, depression, anxiety and bullying in schools.

Future Plans

I hope to further develop my research skills through my role in the FIT-Choice project. I also plan to gain more experience as a psychologist in the school setting supporting and educating teachers of students with additional needs in the mainstream classroom.

This article won the Misumi Award, as nominated by an international panel and was judged to be the most prominent contribution to social psychology in Asia in 2006.
