David's expertise is mainly focused around modelling, monitoring and treatment of urban stormwater. He is currently very interested in the uncertainties of monitoring protocols and how this uncertainty is propagated through hydrological models. Summary of research interests:
1. Exploring microorganism dynamics in urban water systems
2. Improving monitoring regimes for urban stormwater systems
3. Novel modular porous pavement systems designed for reuse applications
4. Modelling of urban stormwater quantity and quality (mostly microorganisms)
5. Quantifying model uncertainty
6. Development and design of stormwater harvesting systems
7. Urban stormwater treatment - design, development and testing
