Mike and Simon's paper "A Mechanism for Symmetry Breaking and Shape Control in Single-Crystal Gold Nanorods" is now published! The manuscript draws together existing literature results to present an explanation for the symmetry breaking of single crystal gold nanorods. (Acc. Chem. Res. 2017) more

A manuscript describing the plasmonic properties of fully topologically enclosed voids! The voids are in Aluminium. The spectra and spatial distribution of modes was investigated using EELS and are in the extreme UV! (ACS Nano 2017) more
